Sean Dee

Sean Dee has over 16 years of work experience in various roles within the chemical engineering field. Sean started their career at Noveon as a Lab Intern in 2004. Sean then worked at DuPont as a Non-woven Fabrics Co-op, where they gained experience in both building innovations and manufacturing. In 2006, they interned at DuPont again, this time as an Advanced Composite Technologies Co-op. Dee then joined The Lubrizol Corporation as a Lab Technician in 2007. Since 2012, they have been working at Exponent as a Senior Managing Engineer, specializing in process safety consulting, combustible dust, green manufacturing, and high purity oxygen systems.

Sean Dee completed their education with impressive accomplishments. Sean started their academic journey at Case Western Reserve University in 2002 and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. Alongside their major, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology from the same institution during the same period.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Sean enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2007. Sean dedicated five years to their studies and successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in 2012.
