Sumit Chaudhary

Sumit Chaudhary has a diverse work experience in academia and industry. Sumit started their career as a Research/Teaching Assistant and later became a Post Doctoral Researcher at the University of California at Riverside. After that, they joined Iowa State University as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering. Sumit was promoted to Associate Professor (tenured) before leaving in 2016. Since 2016, Sumit has been working at Exponent, initially as a Manager and currently as a Senior Manager.

Sumit Chaudhary completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, from 2001 to 2006.
