Laura Bishop Long, MS has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Laura started their career as a Claims Analyst at NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company from September 2005 to July 2009. Laura then worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at Serenity Knolls Alcohol and Drug Treatment from February 2010 to March 2013. Following that, they were a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services from April 2013 to May 2014. Laura then joined North Bay Recovery Center, where they held multiple roles, including Marriage And Family Therapist Intern from May 2014 to August 2016, Administrative/Clinical Coordinator from May 2016 to September 2016, Director of Finance from May 2016 to October 2016, and Executive Director from October 2016 to January 2018. In 2017, Laura established their own coaching business called Laura Bishop Coaching, where they worked as a Wellness/Recovery Coach + Consultant. Currently, they are the Director of Business Development at Exponent Beauty since April 2023.

Laura Bishop Long obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara between the years 2002 and 2004. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and MFT at Dominican University of California from 2009 to 2012.
