Kayla Rusher

Kayla Rusher, PA-C, is a Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant at Extant Healthcare, beginning in December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Emergency Nursing Services Care Tech and Nursing Assistant at Children's Mercy Hospital between January 2019 and November 2020, and October 2015 to January 2019, respectively. Earlier career experience includes working as a Graphic Designer at Must Walk Dogs LLC from June 2013 to May 2016 and as a Sales Associate at Eddie Bauer from June 2012 to December 2013. Kayla Rusher earned a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating in May 2023, and previously obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Iowa in May 2015.
