Loren Barr

Loren Barr is a Principal Lead Engineer at Extensis, with experience leading teams in the development of client applications across desktop, web, and mobile platforms since January 2006. Previously, Loren served as the Chief Designer and Engineer on the Portfolio Web Client and oversaw a team on the Universal Type Server project utilizing J2EE with C++ and Flex clients. In 2009, Loren founded Piccolo Park Software, LLC, focusing on iPhone app development. Prior experience includes a contract position at Inspiration Software, Inc. Educational background includes a BA in Liberal Arts from Reed College and studies at Portland State University.
