Kay Tran

Kay Tran has a diverse range of work experience in various positions related to creative and design roles.

Kay most recently served as the Head of Creative And Product Design at Extra Card starting in November 2022.

Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Director at Zumper from January 2021 to August 2022. In this role, they led the internal creative team, oversaw re-branding efforts, and managed B2C and B2B creative campaigns.

From November 2016 to January 2021, Kay worked as a Creative Director at Amazon, responsible for the online experience of all Amazon Devices. Kay led campaigns for device launches and company-wide events.

Before that, they served as a Senior Art Director at Stitch Fix from September 2015 to November 2016, where they created and managed all acquisition and new user-facing creative.

Kay also held positions as an Art Director at Yahoo from March 2014 to September 2015 and as a Freelance Senior Art Director at various startups and design firms from August 2010 to March 2014.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Creative at Rockmelt for a short period in 2013, as an Art Director Intern at Composition4 from September 2012 to June 2013, as an Assistant Photographer at Travel Magazine from June 2009 to December 2010, and as a Junior Graphic Designer at Rossett Ltd from June 2008 to August 2009.

Kay Tran attended the University of the Arts London from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Graphic Design. Kay then pursued further education at the Academy of Art University from 2011 to 2014, obtaining a Master of Fine Arts degree in Advertising.
