Dan Tucholski

Dan Tucholski is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in cybersecurity and technical consulting. Currently employed at ExtraHop as a Principal Software Engineer in the Security department, Dan leads research and development for network-based detectors that address emergent cybersecurity threats. As the CTO and Founder of Built Simple, Dan focuses on simplifying technology consulting. Previous roles include website consulting at Presence Development, co-founding Veditz to empower the Deaf community, and instructional work at PDX Code Guild. Dan has also held engineering positions at IBM, JPMorgan Chase, and Telos Systems, alongside participating in research at NASA Glenn Research Center. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University.
