Steve Hood

Steve Hood is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in network engineering and solutions architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at ExtraHop since September 2019, Steve has also held positions as a Solutions Architect. Previous roles include Network Engineer at Cultura Technologies and Floyd Medical Center, and Field Service Coordinator at Apogee, Inc. Additionally, Steve has experience as a Network Administrator at Scott Logistics Corp. and as a Technical Support Representative at Momentum Telecom and IBBS. Early career experience includes a role as a Diesel Parts Clerk at Quest Global, Inc., and service as a Broadcast Journalist in the United States Army Reserve, where video news packages and radio shows for American Forces Networks were produced. Steve holds a Bachelor's Degree in IT Security from Western Governors University and completed General Studies transfer coursework at Georgia Highlands College.
