Ramya Yarlagadda has a wealth of experience in protein engineering and molecular modeling. Ramya began their career in 2008 as a Graduate Student Assistant at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. In 2009, they took on a Research Intern role at the University of Toledo. In 2010, they joined Intrexon Corporation as a Research Scientist in Protein Engineering and Bioinformatics. In 2016, they moved to Precigen as a Scientist in Novel Therapeutic Discovery, where they gained significant experience in rational design approaches of protein design in multiple research areas, such as Immuno-oncology (CAR-T), Antibody engineering, Vaccine development, and Gene switches. Most recently, in 2020, they joined EXUMA Biotechnology as a Scientist in Protein Engineering/ Molecular modeling.
Ramya Yarlagadda completed their Masters in Bioinformatics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia between 2008 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelors in Industrial Biotechnology from Anna University between 2003 and 2007.
