Andrew Carson

Andrew Carson is an experienced drilling and completion engineering professional with a comprehensive background in technical support and performance optimization within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Principal Wells Engineer at ExxonMobil since May 2023, Andrew provides global technical support across Wells Teams while setting global standards and initiatives. Previous roles include Head of Performance and Optimization at Qatargas, where Andrew led a team in implementing performance improvements and data analytics, and various advisory positions during tenures at RasGas and ExxonMobil that encompassed well planning, execution, and team mentorship across multiple international projects. Andrew holds a MEng in Chemical Process Engineering from Newcastle University and participated in the ExxonMobil Graduate Development Program at London Business School.
