Preetam Sirur

Preetam Sirur has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Preetam is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer at Eye Care Leaders since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the CISO at Global Growth Holdings from February 2022 to February 2023. From 2019 to 2022, Preetam worked as the Director of Information Security at Vitech Systems Group. Preetam also has experience working as an Independent Cybersecurity Consultant for various companies from November 2018 to February 2019. Preetam held senior positions at S&P Global and S&P Dow Jones Indices, where they served as the Senior Director and Global Head of Threat and Vulnerability Management, Senior Director of Global Head of Information Security, and Division Head of Information Security, Information and Media. Before moving into the private sector, Preetam worked at NYSE Euronext / SIAC as a Technical Director, Senior Manager, Principal/Senior Engineer, and Consultant. Preetam started their career as a Major in the Indian Army and later worked as the Director at Cotmac Private Limited.

Preetam Sirur's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. Preetam obtained a BA in International Relations, Area Studies, and Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya. Preetam also completed graduate studies in Military Studies at the National Defence Academy / Indian Military Academy, which is the equivalent of the USMA West Point. Additionally, Preetam obtained an MS degree in Weapon Systems Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Preetam further pursued an MS degree in Management of Technology at the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Preetam also participated in executive education programs, completing a course in Business Engagement for Information Security Professionals at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Cybersecurity program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In terms of certifications, they obtained ITIL Foundations from EXIN Group Ltd. in 2006, a CISSP certification from ISC2 in 2016, and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in 2007.
