Andrea Ballabio

Andrea Ballabio has extensive work experience in the field of technology and research. Andrea is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of EYE4NIR, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Politecnico di Milano, where they held two roles. From February 2018 to April 2022, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and from November 2014 to February 2018, they were a PHD Student. Andrea also gained experience at The University of Glasgow as a Visiting PHD student from November 2014 to May 2015.

Andrea Ballabio completed a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Materials Science at the same university from 2012 to 2014. After completing their Master's, Andrea continued their education at Politecnico di Milano, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from 2014 to 2018.
