Dorothy Styk

Dorothy Styk has held a variety of roles over the last 25 years. Dorothy began their career in 1995 as an Individual Income Tax Preparer at Greenebaum, Saiger and Kasdin PC. In 2006, they became the Library Secretary/Administration and Audio Visual Specialist at the Brighton Central School District, where they managed purchase orders and supplier interface for supplies, books, software, periodicals, conferences, equipment accounts, and processed orders. In 2014, they became the Monroe County Legislator for District 18, where they proposed and voted on County legislation and annual budgets, addressed individual constituent issues and participated in district constituent events. In 2018, they joined the University of Rochester Medical Center as an Administrative Assistant, where they managed and executed faculty development projects supporting the Associate Dean. Dorothy also joined Cognivue, Inc. as a Sales Associate, where they developed sales leads for a new venture medical device company and assisted with 25% of all device placements in 2019. Most recently, they joined EyeCare Prime as a Sales Development Representative in 2021.

Dorothy Styk obtained their high school degree from Bishop Kearney in Rochester New York. Dorothy then went on to Syracuse University, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems. Additionally, they are a certified Notary Public from New York State.
