Herb Meistrich has been a successful leader of companies in venture capital investing, including investments in real estate, hospitality, sports management, service industry delivery, and higher education. Herb has been a principal in the investment of over $500 million of real estate assets, including 30+ hotels and over 40,000 apartment units in 25 states. He has demonstrated success in significantly improving sales and values for new and established businesses through successful marketing, improved operations, expansions, and the restructuring of complicated debt and equity arrangements to enhance value. He has also consulted with major financial institutions to analyze problems involving non-earning assets to establish and implement creative solutions to enhance values.
Herb practiced law for six years from 1966 to 1972. In addition to his venture capital activities, Herb served on the Board of The March of Dimes, the San Diego Zoo and National University and was an Adjunct Professor at NYU. More recently, Herb served as an Expert in Residence at the University of California, Irvine and as a Mentor at the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego.
Herb received a B.A. Degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and an LLB Degree from Columbia University Law School.
