Amit Anand

Amit Anand has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2000, they worked at DLM as a Software Lead. From 2006 to 2009, they held positions at the Government of Alberta, first as a Senior Business Analyst and later as a Project Lead and Consultant. In 2009, Amit became the President of A+ IT Solutions Ltd and also joined the NAIT Alumni Council as an Instructor and later as the Director of Media Relations. Amit then worked at Alberta Education as a Senior Consultant, Business Analyst, and Project Manager from 2009 to an unknown end date. In 2013, they joined NAIT's Digital Media and Information Technology as a Member of the Advisory Board. In 2016, Amit founded ez enRoute, a company focused on disrupting the Transportation industry through innovative SMART IoT technologies. Currently, they are deploying solutions for the Student Transportation Industry. In 2019, they became a Sessional Instructor at NAIT.

Amit Anand obtained their EMBA degree in IT Management from Athabasca University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Technology (CST) from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) between 1999 and 2001. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification in July 2019 from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
