Hel-Or Yacov

Hel-Or Yacov has a diverse work experience spanning over several prestigious institutions and companies. Starting in 1993, Hel-Or worked as a Post-Doc at the Weizmann Institute of Science for a year before moving on to the NASA Ames Research Center, where they continued as a Post-Doc until 1996. Following this, Hel-Or joined HP as a Research Engineer and stayed with the company until 1998.

In 1999, Hel-Or became a Visiting Professor at Stanford University for a summer. Their next career move took them to Google Inc. in 2011, where they started as a Visiting Professor for a year before transitioning into the role of a Research Scientist until 2015.

From 2016 to 2018, Hel-Or worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Amazon Inc. before co-founding EZCheck.me in 2019. Currently, Hel-Or is affiliated with Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) since 1998. They started as a Professor at the School of Computer Science and now hold the position of Dean of the School of Computer Science as of October 2021.

From 1989 to 1994, Hel-Or Yacov attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
