Shane Guthrie

Shane Guthrie has an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Shane currently holds the position of Vice President Operations at F5, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Director of Engineering and Operations at F5 Distributed Cloud Services, where they managed security mitigation services and a global, distributed secure application deployment environment.

Before joining F5, Guthrie worked as the VP Product and Solutions at Kasi Data Centers from February 2021 to June 2022. Shane also held the role of Principal at Microsoft from November 2017 to February 2021.

Earlier in their career, Guthrie served as the Network Engineering Manager for Google Fiber, where they managed various teams responsible for architecture, network engineering, and system operations. Shane also worked at Equinix as a Sr. Manager in Solution Architecture and Innovation, and at Alcatel-Lucent as an Innovation Director and Multimedia Ecosystem Strategist.

Guthrie's work experience also includes roles at Savvis, Cable & Wireless, Masergy Communications, and Zephion Networks, where they held positions in solutions design engineering, technical strategy, systems development, and server operations.

Shane Guthrie completed their education in English from 1999 to 2001. Shane also attended Crestwood from 1982 to 1986 but did not earn any specific degree or pursue a field of study.
