Marcelo Vecchi has extensive experience in marketing and communication, currently serving as the Head of Marketing Communication and Consumer Relations at Faber-Castell Brasil since April 2018, where responsibilities include brand and communication strategy for the Brazilian operation and conceptualization of long-term repositioning plans. Prior to this role, Marcelo was the Head of Global Communication at Alpargatas from June 2008 to January 2018, overseeing strategic brand planning and communication initiatives. Experience also includes serving as Digital Global Manager at Alpargatas, Marketing Coordinator, Specialist, and Senior Marketing Analyst at Claro from March 2001 to June 2008, and earlier as a Marketing Analyst at Sunset Comunicação from May 1999 to March 2001. Marcelo holds an MBA in Marketing from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, a specialization in Relationship Marketing from Associação Brasileira de Marketing Direto, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Advertising from Universidade de Brasília.
