Abigail Gates

Abigail Gates is an accomplished attorney currently serving at Fabian VanCott since May 2023, previously holding positions as a law clerk and summer associate at the same firm. Abigail has contributed as an associate articles editor for the Utah Law Review from January 2022 to May 2023 and gained legal research experience as a research fellow at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. Prior legal experience includes a law clerk role at the Disability Law Center of Utah, where Abigail focused on ADA employment discrimination. In addition to legal work, Abigail directed Project Embrace, a nonprofit aimed at addressing global health inequalities. Abigail holds a Doctor of Law degree with a Business Law Certificate and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Health, Society, and Policy from the University of Utah.
