Maria Vashchuk

Maria Vashchuk is a skilled surface pattern designer and owner of The Tiny Garden Design Studio in Haarlem, the Netherlands, operational since 2016. With a diverse career, Maria has also been a teacher on the Skillshare platform since October 2020 and has worked as a licensed artist for several companies, including Quilting Treasures, Entryways, Monsterthreads, Galison & Mudpuppy, Mixbook, Greetabl, and Dedoles, creating products ranging from doormats to invitations and textiles. Maria holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and has furthered expertise in surface pattern design through the Wackers Art Academy and a dedicated program on the subject in 2017.
