Alex Shimamoto

Alexandra Shimamoto is currently the Global Head of People at fabric, where responsibilities include aligning People strategies with company goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting the leadership team in recruiting and retaining talent. Prior to this role, Alexandra served as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Build.com, managing headcount planning and leading a recruitment team for a large organization. Alexandra also held positions as a Lead Technical Recruiter and Farmers Insurance District Recruiting Manager, focusing on recruiting for technical roles and supporting the establishment of exclusive insurance agencies, respectively. Early career experience includes managing an insurance agency and serving as General Manager at Palisades Cafe and Grill. Alexandra studied at Arizona Western College from 2006 to 2008.
