Andrew Edmonds began their career in 2005 as an R&D Engineering Intern at B.Braun. In 2010, they took on a role as a Nuclear Plant Equipment Operator at Southern California Edison while also working as a Medical Device Testing Apparatus Designer as a self-employed contractor. In 2013, they joined General Atomics as a Mechanical Hardware Supervisor, Energy Storage System (ESS) Lead Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, they acted as the control account manager and technical lead for a $150 million motor generator system, managing and assisting with internal and external NRE and production subcontractors, EVMS, schedule and cost adherence. Andrew also recovered the schedule from 0. In 2018, they became a Senior Engineer at Fabric8Labs.
Andrew Edmonds obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in 2009. Andrew then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2010. In 2014, they obtained an Engineer In Training Certificate from the State of California. Andrew also holds a NRC PWR Generic Fundamentals Examination from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which they obtained in 2010.
