Jake Wright

Jake Wright has 10 years of professional experience in engineering. Jake began their career in 2012 at HP, where they held various roles including Senior Research Development Scientist, Lead System Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Mechanical Engineer. In 2022, they joined Fabric8Labs as a Senior Systems Engineer. At HP, their Systems Engineer role involved developing HP's MJF 3D printing technology, and they were responsible for testbed hardware and software development, developing algorithms for patterning inks/agents for HP's mono 3D printers, as well as material and ink development. In their Mechanical Engineer role, they designed and tested hardware for investigation phase of HP's commercial and industrial packaging technology, and worked with media development team as well as external suppliers to develop pre-print and post-print coatings for improved print quality and durability.

Jake Wright attended the University of Maryland from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
