Guy van Rooyen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Guy started their career as a Senior Analyst at Gomez Advisors in 2000 before moving on to ShareBuilder Corporation in 2003 as a Senior Business Development Analyst. In 2004, they became the Chief Financial Officer at the Salyers Group, where they managed investments in real estate, retail, entertainment, apparel catalog, and hospitality. In the same year, they also took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Donna Salyers' Fabulous-Furs, a leading multichannel fashion retailer. In 2010, they became the President & CEO of the Salyers Group and a Partner at vR Equity in 2011. Guy then became the Principal and CEO of The Hotel Covington in 2012. Throughout their career, Guy van Rooyen has demonstrated expertise in investment management, business development, and leadership.
Guy van Rooyen attended Scotch College from 1988 to 1993. Later, they pursued higher education at the University of Melbourne from 1995 to 1998, specializing in Science & Finance.
