Jon Bates

Jon Bates is an experienced music professional with a diverse background in entertainment, music production, and organizational consulting. Since 1985, Jon has led THE JON BATES BAND, known for delivering premium entertainment for corporate parties and upscale events with a wide-ranging musical repertoire. Additionally, Jon has contributed to Face The Music as a musician and team building coach since 2008, emphasizing the impactful integration of music in program design. Prior roles include technical work at Percussion Power (1988-2008) and significant leadership as VP of Operations and Chief Engineer at Chiaroscuro Records (1977-2008). Jon Bates holds a BS in Communications from Boston University and has studied at Berklee College of Music.
