Josey Puliyenthuruthel is the Consulting Editor at FactorDaily. Prior to that, they served as the Editor In Chief at FactorDaily from April 2016 to April 2019. Josey has also worked as the Managing Editor at Business Today from November 2009 to December 2014.

Josey has extensive experience in journalism, with a focus on business journalism. Josey has led the FactorDaily newsroom and helped create newsroom-rooted revenue properties. At Business Today, they managed special issues and events, and interfaced with ad sales and marketing teams on all things brand and revenue-generating projects.

Under Josey's leadership, both at FactorDaily and Business Today, the publications saw increased readership, circulation, and revenues. At Business Today, they helped grow the digital presence to some three million monthly unique visitors. Josey is responsible for running many successful stories, including covers on the waning control of billionaire Mukesh Ambani over the government, how Indian companies were coping with a millennial workforce, why Infosys was a pale shadow of its old self, a changing Google, the Amazon vs. Flipkart battle, how manufacturing returns to India from the Middle Kingdom, and a bold prediction of a decelerating economy.

Josey Puliyenthuruthel completed a Certificate Course in Business Journalism from the Times Centre of Media Studies (Times School of Journalism). Josey then went on to earn a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum. Next, they completed Class XII from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Trivandrum in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology. Finally, they completed a Certificate Course in Financial Analysis from ICFAI Certificate Course in Fundamental Market Analysis.
