Bernadette Mumbua has a wealth of experience in field and market research. Bernadette began their career in 2014 as a Senior Field Officer for Innovations for Poverty Action, where they worked on the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development project. In this role, they managed a team of field officers, transcribed and translated audio files, and conducted field work involving data collection and supervision. Bernadette then moved on to become a Senior Research Officer and Senior Field Officer for the same company, working on the Medicine Access Project (NAP) and conducting field work in Embu and Narok counties. In 2017, they joined TADEKenya as a Research Assistant for The President's Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) Evaluation. In 2019, they became a Field Officer for Georgetown East Africa, conducting data collection for the Auto Saving Tea Study in Murang'a. Finally, in 2021, they joined Plan International as a Research Assistant, assisting in the evaluation of the organization's strategic plan. In 2022, they began their current role as a Field and Market Research Specialist for Factor[e] Ventures.
Bernadette Mumbua received their degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Kenyatta University in 2013. Bernadette is currently attending Kenyatta University, but their field of study and degree name are unknown.
