Scott Manson

Scott Manson is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Part-time Sheriff with the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service since January 2022. As an Advocate, Manson has been affiliated with Axiom Advocates and the Faculty of Advocates since February 2017 and October 2013, respectively. Manson has also held roles as a Tutor in Civil Litigation at the University of Glasgow since August 2014 and as a Tutor in Law at the same institution from September 2006 to December 2012. Prior legal experience includes positions as a Solicitor in Dispute Resolution at MacRoberts and various solicitor roles at Brechin Tindal Oatts, where responsibilities encompassed civil and criminal litigation. Manson's academic credentials include a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Glasgow Graduate School of Law and a First-Class LL.B in Scots Law from the University of Glasgow. Additionally, Manson is a Lord Reid Scholar and Faculty Scholar for the 2013-2014 academic year.
