Dale Lachniet

Dale Lachniet has a extensive work experience in various finance, accounting, and operational roles. Dale is currently the Managing Director of Business Advisory and Finance & Accounting at Fahrenheit Advisors. In this role, they utilize their unique blend of financial, accounting, and operational expertise to connect the dots between operations and finance, enabling the development of effective solutions across the enterprise.

Prior to their current role, Dale served as the VP Finance and Corporate Controller at Lee Enterprises from November 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they held leadership positions at BH Media Group, including VP of the BH Media Eastern Community Newspaper Group and Publisher at The Free Lance-Star from May 2016 to November 2020, and VP of Operations and President of BH Media Publishing Solutions from June 2012 to April 2016.

Dale's experience also includes positions at Media General, where they served as President of Operations and Distribution Solutions from January 2009 to June 2012, and as VP and Controller from November 1996 to January 2009. Dale began their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager from May 1994 to November 1996, and earlier at Price Waterhouse as a Manager from January 1986 to May 1994.

Dale Lachniet earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Liberty University. During their time at the university, Dale also pursued minors in Political Science and Business Administration. Additionally, Dale obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Virginia Board of Accountancy in 1988.
