Margaret Storey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in tourism development and management. Currently serving as Support for the Wild Atlantic Way at Fáilte Ireland since January 2023, Margaret previously worked as a Project Officer for Donegal County Council from February 2020 to January 2023, focusing on the TIDE project to enhance historical maritime tourism. From October 2008 to December 2019, Margaret managed the Tourism Experience at Creevy & District Community Development Co-operative Society Ltd, overseeing staff and promoting local tourism offerings. Earlier, Margaret held the position of Chief Executive at Town & Country Homes Association Ltd from January 1991 to October 2007, leading the National Bed & Breakfast Association in marketing over 2,000 properties across Ireland. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Government Studies from the Institute of Public Administration, a Fellowship in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Accounting Technology, a Degree in SME Business Management from Waterford Institute of Technology, and being an Accounts Technician from the Institute of Accountants Technicians of Ireland.
