Stacy Hope has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Communications at the Fair Labor Association since October 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles including Communications Director at the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe from 2014 to 2022, Senior Advisor of Press and Public Diplomacy at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States from 2008 to 2014, and Communications Manager at the British Council, British Embassy from 2004 to 2008. Stacy began their career as an Account Coordinator and Associate Account Executive at Golin from 2000 to 2002. Stacy also worked as a Public Relations Manager at the National Association of Home Builders from 2003 to 2004 and as an External Relations Officer for the Fulbright Student Program at the Institute of International Education from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, Stacy was a Truman Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project starting in 2009.
Stacy Hope began their education at Lassiter High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1990 to 1994. Following that, they attended the University of Southern California from 1994 to 1998, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Print Journalism (cum laude). In 1997, Stacy participated in a Study Abroad program at the University of Sussex, focusing on International Relations. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a Master of Science degree in International Relations at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1998 to 1999. In 2004, Stacy further expanded their skillset by obtaining a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
