Alexander Kiy

Alexander Kiy is an experienced substance abuse counselor currently working with the Fairbanks Native Association since August 2021, focusing on the Community Opioid Intervention Project. Prior to this role, Alexander served as a security officer at Universal Protection Services from October 2015 to April 2022, providing security for Wyndham Resort Properties. Alexander's earlier experience includes significant work as a mental health associate and counselor at Steward Norwood Hospital from February 2002 to December 2014, where responsibilities included supporting adult and child/adolescent psychiatric units. Alexander holds a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of California, Riverside.
