Jan Grzeda

Jan (Kuba) Grzeda, MPA, currently serves as Chief of Staff at Fairbanks North Star Borough since October 2023, following a tenure as Deputy Chief of Staff. Prior work experience includes roles as Project Coordinator and Project Assistant at the Arctic Research Consortium of the United States from September 2019 to October 2023, and as a Research Assistant at Information Insights from August 2018 to August 2019. Earlier, Jan (Kuba) Grzeda worked as an Office Associate at State Farm, where responsibilities included customer service and training management. Additional experience encompasses guiding tours at EcoSeg Alaska and marketing for West Valley High School's 2013 Yearbook. Educationally, Jan (Kuba) Grzeda earned an MPA in Public Administration from the University of Alaska Southeast and a BS in Economics from Portland State University.
