Melissa Gould

Melissa Gould is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher of Science at Fairholme College since January 2024. Previously, Melissa worked with the Queensland Department of Education for over a decade, where roles included Science and Mathematics Teacher, Head of Year 7, and Secondary Science Teacher/Literacy Coordinator. Responsibilities encompassed leading curriculum implementation, enhancing teacher capacity to engage students, and developing literacy initiatives for a large student body. Additionally, Melissa held various positions at the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority, such as Lead Confirmer and EA Marker for Chemistry, and contributed to educational content creation as a freelance author and content creator. Melissa's academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Leadership and Management and a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education from Queensland University of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
