Stijn Decoene

Stijn Decoene is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, sustainability projects, and financial oversight. Currently serving as the Member (Chair) of the Fairtrade International Standards Committee since September 2022, Stijn plays a critical role in establishing Fairtrade Standards and Pricing. As the Head of Supply & Impact at Fairtrade Belgium since May 2017, Stijn manages supply chain projects, facilitates trade between Fairtrade producers and Belgian partners, and oversees impact demonstrations. Previous roles include Project Manager for the International Olympic Committee, Senior Divisional Strategic Buyer at Alpro, and various positions within Tate & Lyle and Roularta Media Group. Stijn holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Sports Administration from AISTS and has additional qualifications in financial integration and applied economic sciences.
