James de Souza

James de Souza has over two decades of work experience in software engineering and IT outsourcing. James is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Fairwinds and as a Business Owner at JDSBR IT Outsourcing. Previously, they held multiple roles at MATERA Systems, including Software Architect, Technical Lead for JEE projects, and Java Web developer. James also served as a Technical Lead at Actminds, Inc. and worked as a Java Web developer at Widesoft.

James de Souza received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, which they attended from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Technical High School education in Data processing at COTIL - UNICAMP from 1994 to 1996.

In terms of certifications, James obtained the following:

1. Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services in June 2004.

2. Sun Certified Business Component Developer for J2EE 1.3 in April 2004.

3. Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE 1.4 in February 2004.

4. Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform 1.4 in December 2003.

5. FinOps Certified Practitioner from the FinOps Foundation in August 2022.
