Freddy Sotelo

Freddy Sotelo, MD MPH FACEP is the CEO and Co-Founder of ContinuEM, a company focused on innovative outpatient emergent and urgent medical care since January 2021. Additionally, Freddy serves as an Emergency Medicine Physician and Chairperson of the Medical Executive Committee at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, where responsibilities include chairing the Credentials and Privileges Committee and supporting daily operations. As Medical Director at MemorialCare since April 2014, Freddy oversees Health Information Management, Clinical Documentation Integrity, and Revenue Cycle for the health system. Freddy also leads the Falck Physicians Group as President, providing advanced medical care on demand. Training includes an Emergency Medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center from July 2007 to June 2010, with foundational education comprising a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UCLA and a Doctor of Medicine from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA along with a Master of Public Health from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
