Aakash Kambuj

Aakash Kambuj has extensive experience in the tech industry. Aakash's career began in 2001 when they joined Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineer. During their tenure at Microsoft, they progressed to become Principal Development Lead for both Xbox Live and Windows Live Mesh cloud services. In 2011, Aakash moved to Familiar Inc. as Principal Engineer and was the first engineer at the company. Aakash was responsible for various aspects of their product, from building their Android app from the ground up to databases, backend infrastructure, and API endpoints. In 2013, Aakash moved to Dropbox as Senior Engineering Manager, then later as Head of Engineering - Search and Content Retrieval. Under their leadership, active users on mobile more than tripled, and they were responsible for initiatives that added over $100M in annual recurring revenue. Finally, Aakash is currently the CTO and Co-founder of Falkon AI.

Aakash Kambuj completed a BS with Honors in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore between 1997 and 2001. In December 2004, they obtained a Computer Graphics certification from the University of Washington.
