Alyssa B.

Alyssa B. is a dedicated educator and dance professional with a diverse background in teaching and performance. Currently serving as a Dance Teacher at the FCPS Institute of the Arts since July 2024, Alyssa also works as a Homebound and Substitute Teacher for Falls Church City Public Schools, a role initiated in September 2021. Alyssa has experience as a Financial Management Analyst with the US Navy from September 2022 to May 2024 and has contributed as a Teaching Artist with Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company and in programs with the José Limón Dance Foundation. Previous roles include Dance Instructor at Melinas Dancing Garden, Student Teacher, and Preschool Teacher within Fairfax County Public Schools. Academically, Alyssa holds a Dance and Performance Certificate from the Jose Limón Dance Foundation, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from George Mason University.
