Averi Roberts

Averi Roberts is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in special education and program development. Currently serving as a Special Education Specialist at Falls Church City Public Schools since September 2020, Averi Roberts focuses on supporting students in achieving their IEP and 504 goals in an award-winning International Baccalaureate public school. Previous roles include Preschool Teacher at Dulin Cooperative Preschool and Founder and Chair of TJ Strings Club, where efforts successfully established a stringed music program in the local public school system. Averi Roberts has held significant positions, such as Associate Director of Programs at Envision by WorldStrides, Program Coordinator for Young Associates and Families at Smithsonian Associates, and Youth Program Coordinator at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Museum Education from The George Washington University, along with a Bachelor of Science in History from Elon University.
