Kristen Michael

Kristen Michael has over 24 years of work experience, with their most recent position being Chief Operating Officer at Falls Church City Public Schools since January 2018. Prior to this, they held various roles at Fairfax County Public Schools from 2005 to 2018, including Assistant Superintendent, Financial Services and Director, Budget Services. From 2001 to 2005, Kristen was an Administrative Manager at Loudoun County, and from 1994 to 2001, they served as Assistant Director at the Family Resource Center - Child Welfare Agency.

Kristen Michael pursued their undergraduate education from 1986 to 1990 at Loyola University Chicago, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology. Following that, from 2010 to 2012, they attended George Mason University to earn a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree, specializing in Public Administration.
