Afeya Jahin

Afeya Jahin is a Computer Science student at Mount Holyoke College, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Intern at Fama Technologies Inc., Afeya has developed a billing application using a tech stack that includes React and Python. As the President of Girls Who Code, Afeya has facilitated workshops and recruited over 200 members to promote gender parity in tech. Experience as a Teaching Assistant for both Data Structures and Introduction to Computer Science involves mentoring students and managing lab sessions. Additional roles include web development for the MHC Computer Science Society, co-founding a mobile development course with CodePath, and advocating for international students as a Senator in the Student Government Association. Afeya has also engaged in advanced studies concerning AI through AI4ALL.
