Kathleen Sutherland

Kathleen Sutherland is a seasoned mental health professional currently serving as the Manager of Behavioral Health and Clinical Supervisor at Family Centers since July 2020. With a solid foundation in counseling and therapy, Kathleen has previously held positions as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Silver Hill Hospital and as a Supervisor and FFT-CW Lead Therapist at The New York Foundling, where intensive home-based Functional Family Therapy was provided to high-risk youth. Kathleen's diverse experience includes crisis intervention and individual psychotherapy at Kingsborough Community College and psychoeducational treatment for clients with learning disabilities at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Quinnipiac University.
