Michelle Hallock-VanderPloeg has a diverse work experience across various organizations. Michelle is currently serving as the Senior Director of Training and Compliance at Family Partners, LLC, where they provide training to a team of 330 employees and offers customized classes based on member requests. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a Lead Trainer at On Target Training and Consulting, LLC from 2014 to 2022.
Michelle also holds experience as a Life Coach/Trainer and Community Assistant Manager at Treasure House Phoenix from 2018 to 2021, as well as a Program Director at Second Chance Group Homes from 2015 to 2018. In addition, Michelle served as the Executive Director at AmeriServe International of Arizona from 2005 to 2014, during which they oversaw the organization's growth and managed various aspects, including budgets, customer service, coaching, and compliance.
Their career began at Easter Seals NH, where they worked as a Case Manager from 2000 to 2005. In this role, Michelle was responsible for managing care and communication for teenagers, including scheduling medical appointments, court hearings, therapy groups, and family visitation.
Throughout their career, Michelle has been passionate about supporting others, promoting growth, and implementing training programs.
Michelle Hallock-VanderPloeg earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from American International College in 1998. Michelle later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections at the same institution, completing it in 1999. Additionally, Michelle has obtained several certifications including Lead Article 9 instructor from the Division of Developmental Disabilities in March 2023, DCW from the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) in 2022, Lead Prevention and Support Instructor from the Division of Developmental Disabilities AZ in October 2022, and First Aid and CPR Instructor from EMS Safety Services in 2019.
