Essence Coxum

Essence Coxum is a licensed real estate broker at eXp Realty since April 2024 and serves as a housing specialist at Family Tree since December 2022, acting as a liaison among program case managers, the program director, and the Division of Housing Representative. Coxum holds a position as a case manager while also working as a market partner with MONAT Global since August 2021. Previous experience includes roles as an assistant store manager at Piercing Pagoda from December 2022 to April 2024, a mental health crisis specialist at Rocky Mountain Crisis Partners from July 2022 to November 2022, and a substitute teacher within the City School District Albany from March 2022 to August 2022. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Social Work obtained from the University of Denver in May 2023 and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The College of Saint Rose in May 2022. In addition, Coxum has held various leadership roles during university, including intercultural leadership ambassador and treasurer of the Black Student Union.
