Masayasu Morita

Masayasu Morita has extensive experience in business incubation, ventures, and advisory roles. In 2006, they founded and became CEO of hitomedia, inc., a business incubator focused on education and cross-cultural sectors, as well as supporting foreign corporations entering the Japanese market. In 2015, they founded and became CEO of hitotoki Incubator, inc., a venture capital and incubator company formed by hitomedia, inc. and JT. Masayasu also served as a Board Director at Classi Corp. since 2014 and as a Board Member at OPEN8 Inc. since 2015. Additionally, Morita served as a Board Member at EnglishCentral, Inc. since 2009 and as an Advisor at Benesse Corporation since 2007. Masayasu held the CEO position at Japanese Writers' House / TranNet KK since 2011 and has been an Investor and Vice Head of Japan at Fancy.com since 2013. Morita also served as a Board Director at Global Educational Partners since 2015 and as an Audit & Supervisory Board Member at Evolable Asia Corp. since 2014.

Masayasu Morita's education history begins in 1994 when they attended the University of California, Berkeley. They pursued a degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies and completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in 1997.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Morita furthered their education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education from 1997 to 1998. During this time, they obtained an Ed.M. degree specializing in Technology in Education.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Morita enrolled at the University of Cambridge in 1998. They spent a year studying at the Faculty of Education and earned an M.Phil. degree in the field of Education in 1999.
