Jonathan Chen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Jonathan began their career as a Representative/Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they proselyted in Mandarin Chinese, Tongan, and English languages. Jonathan also taught English and prepared religious lessons during their time there.

After their missionary work, Jonathan worked as a Missionary Training Center Teacher, teaching Tongan to future missionaries preparing to serve in Tonga.

In 2008, they interned as a System Analyst at Sunrider International before transitioning to a Intern role at Novell.

Jonathan then joined Sunrider International again, this time in a full-time capacity, taking on progressively more senior roles. Jonathan started as a Business System Manager, then became an IT Director, and eventually held the position of Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they were responsible for executive management of IT departments across Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America. Jonathan led a team of 50, including 10 direct reports, and focused on modernizing and automating various mobile and web applications. Additionally, they served as the executive stakeholder for all Oracle Applications.

In 2020, Jonathan joined Lendio as a Senior Software Engineer before transitioning to a role as Vice President of Engineering at Stacks. Stacks is a next-gen engagement platform for sports fans, offering a gamified, short-form video app that allows fans to interact and get rewarded for talking about sports.

From there, they moved on to become the Chief Technology Officer at FanFactor Inc., a blockchain-based sports fan engagement platform that empowers fans to make an impact on their favorite teams and athletes.

In 2021, Jonathan briefly served on the Board of Directors at Sunrider International.

In 2023, they joined Studio Zubio as a Bunderkin and then took on the role of Staff Software Engineer at Barti.

Currently, Jonathan is a First White Belt at Wolves Den Jiu Jitsu.
