Liz Grimshaw

Liz Grimshaw currently serves as the Place Based Environmental Digital Transformation Lead and Project Manager for City Environment at the City of Wolverhampton Council since February 2022. In addition to this role, Liz has been freelancing as an Event Control Manager for APL Event since August 2019, overseeing various high-profile festivals such as Camp Bestival and Titan Festival. Liz also works as an Event Freelancer for Far and Beyond Events Ltd, specializing in Event Control, Disabled Access Coordination, and Event Site Management at notable venues and events. Previous experience at the City of Wolverhampton Council includes roles as Commercial Operations Manager, Events Officer, and Ticketing and Data Officer. Liz's event management expertise is further enhanced by a tenure with Festival Republic, where responsibilities included Event Control for major festivals. Liz holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wolverhampton and a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Fine/Studio Arts from the same institution.
