Erin Raser

Erin Raser currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the California Department of Food and Agriculture and has extensive experience in agriculture and food security. As Director of Farm Operations at Far West Fungi since January 2019, Erin oversees more than 60 employees, managing logistics, operations, USDA inspections, and safety training. Previous roles include Water, Agriculture, and Food Security Officer at the Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura and USDA Grant Reviewer, where Erin facilitated the review of numerous grant applications. Erin also contributed to grant writing and event planning at Food First and held various roles focused on environmental justice and sustainable agriculture. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from the University for Peace and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from American University.
