Margaret Choltco is a seasoned educator and archaeologist with a diverse background in teaching and anthropological research. Currently serving as a Middle School Art Teacher, Elementary School Teacher, and Substitute Teacher for the Washoe County School District since September 2019, Margaret has significant experience in various educational roles. In addition, Margaret has worked as an Archaeologist with Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. since June 2020 and previously held a similar position at Kautz Environmental Consultants, Inc. from August 2016 to December 2017. Margaret holds a Master of Arts in Teaching - MAT in Elementary Education from Sierra Nevada College, obtained in May 2022, a Master of Arts in Anthropology with a focus on Nautical Archaeology from Texas A&M University (2000-2003), and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Penn State University (1994-1998).
